ADHD brain is so exhausting sometimes. My brain is processing so many different things right now.

It's important to have a long-term vision for your life. How does what you are learning fit into that vision? Even if the answer is that this is a leisure activity to bring joy into your life, that is a great answer. As you feel more love and joy in your life, the things you desire will be drawn to you.

Expect setbacks. Expect burnout. If you are prepared for these things you can manage them when they come. When that happens, take a step back and slow down, you are integrating what you've learned.

what am I feeling?

my head is in logic and code and not in the present moment

theres no such thing as positive or negative emotions. there are just emotions. emotions are just signals that let you know what you need. You might need connection. or you might need space to relax.

i used to self inflict stress and then have meltdowns because I couldn’t cope properly. At least now I’m getting better at coping, but I still need to work on not inflicting so much stress on myself.

Our nervous systems are stuck in survival mode. This can look like: anxiety and hypervigilance, depression and shutdown, addiction, perfectionism, numbing / disassociating, emotional repression / avoidance. Over time, these patterns affect our internal mechanisms to self soothe in moments of stress. This can cause us to become stuck in a state of nervous system dysregulation indefinitely.

why am I so hard on myself? why do I put so much pressure on myself?
