you need to be working on an exit strategy for your career. Expecting to work in the same industry doing the same type of work for 40 years is setting yourself up for danger in the future.
focus on your lifestyle. practice finding your ikigai.
What the world needs is always changing. What you can be paid for is always changing. What you love is within you, it's who you are. It's the most stable of the 4. And what you're good at you have full control over, it takes practice, focus and discipline.
So you can't control what the world needs. You then need to constantly be assessing your daily actions, are you getting better at things that you can get paid to do? Are you trying new things, maybe you can find something new you love and open new doors.
Get better at what you love. Find ways to love what you're already good at more, or find new things to love and get good at.
Let the world do its thing, be adaptable. Keep creating with love and let the world find you when it needs you.
my last day is on Friday so IDGAF anymore. If you aren't already, you all need to be building skills and networking on the side. Build a corporate exit strategy and get out. Learn to live a simpler lifestyle. This is full on class warfare. Stop buying shit from Amazon you don't absolutely need. Stop watching mindless content. We are all capable of building a better world than what we're currently being led to build.
